ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
Internationally recognized as one of the first biofeedback and behavioral medicine centers, the Biofeedback Institute of San Francisco is the nation's oldest biofeedback behavioral medicine clinic, established in 1974. Successfully working with problems such as migraine and tension headache, hypertension, and insomnia, it has developed a reputation as a clinic, a training center and an information resource.
Services include Biofeedback Training and Therapy, self-control techniques, peak performance skills training, and neuromuscular reeducation for stroke and paraplegia. Symptoms seen include Stress, Anxiety, Phobias, Depression, Migraine and Tension Headaches, Hypertension, IBS, GI Disorders, Bruxism / TMJ, Reynauds, Sexual Dysfunction and Pain.
The Institute has been on the forefront of the development of EEG Neurofeedback methods for ADD / ADHD, Sleep Disorders, Creativity, Memory, Concentration, Aging and Closed Head Injuries,
We specialize in the use of wearables and Apps for home and remote training.

George Fuller von Bozzay, Ph.D. Founder and Clinical Director of the Biofeedback Institute of San Francisco; Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Stanford University Medical Center; Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Biological Dysfunction, University of California Medical School, San Francisco; Staff Psychologist, Adult Psychiatry Department, Children’s Hospital, San Francisco; Faculty, City College of San Francisco, University of California, Berkeley Extension; 1976 President, Biofeedback Society of California, past Co-chairman of State Societies and Chairman of Insurance Committee, Biofeedback Society of America;
The author of Biofeedback: Methods and Procedures in Clinical Practice (Biofeedback Press, 1977) and Psychology: Today and Tomorrow (Harper and Row, 1978) as well as other books, chapters and publications.
